Like swallows migrating from one country to another, we embarked on our journey from South Africa to Australia in 2013, seeking to build a new nest Down Under.

The fusion of our creative minds and passions has given birth to Kwas Studio, where we proudly opened our shop doors in Warners Bay, NSW, in October 2021. Regrettably, in July 2023, we made the decision to shift our focus towards an online presence and mobile painting sessions.

The name "Kwas" stems from the Afrikaans word for "brush," a fundamental tool in the art of creativity. Ulanda, a former teacher and talented artist, is dedicated to nurturing people's creative potential. She believes that, deep within, we all possess an artistic spark waiting to ignite. Ulanda now offers private art classes at her home studio and private painting sessions to help you explore your artistic side.

Caroli, Ulanda's daughter brings her passion for design, photography, and art to the studio. Her influence is evident in the studio's layout and can be discovered in our retail section, Studio Caroli, where her products and designs are showcased.
